A nice little port to a heavily motion influenced console, but it did have a few problems. Graphics - what can I say. The wii had limitations, and the original game on the 360 and PS3 just had graphics that could not be replicated. Instead, what results seem like shortcutted textures and faces that seem reminiscent of the previous generation consoles. I won't lie if I say that it was definitely a letdown, but in comparison to the actual game, I guess it's only fair to say. Gameplay - well it was nice to play a mainstream FPS in the style of physical aiming, and this feature really did sell it for me. That being said, some of the control settings were a bit awkward, but in the end manageable. Control speed was great, but at points in online multiplayer, it did seem to lag a few times (not due to connection, but just due to too much happening). And in terms of level design, there wasn't much of a change between the original and this port, which is quite satisfying (though whilst playing, the relatively poor graphics was quite distracting, but maybe that's just personal preference). Music - FPS games don't need to be high strung about music, and a lot of designers seem to have figured that out. With this game, it still seems to follow the same generic formula, but it plays out beautifully. The soundtrack suits the mood whenever it finds suit, and it really adds that extra ambiance that makes gameplay much more immersive. A good port, definitely could have been better. I would recommend getting this game on a different platform with more capabilities and processing power. However, if you're in it for the experience (especially with the aiming system), then I would say it's worth it.
