The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Wii U Game

The Legend of Zelda is making it's Wii U debut in style.

Forget everything you know about The Legend of Zelda games. Step into a world of discovery, exploration and adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a boundary-breaking new game in the acclaimed series. Travel across fields, through forests and to mountain peaks as you discover what has become of the ruined kingdom of Hyrule in this stunning open-air adventure.

Features:
Explore the wilds of Hyrule any way you like - Climb up towers and mountain peaks in search of new destinations, then set your own path to get there and plunge into the wilderness. Along the way, you'll battle towering enemies, hunt wild beasts and gather ingredients for the food and elixirs you'll need to sustain you on your journey.

More than 100 Shrines of Trials to discover and explore - Shrines dot the landscape, waiting to be discovered in any order you want. Search for them in various ways, and solve a variety of puzzles inside. Work your way through the traps and devices inside to earn special items and other rewards that will help you on your adventure.

Be prepared and properly equipped - With an entire world waiting to be explored, you'll need a variety of outfits and gear to reach every corner. You may need to bundle up with warmer clothes or change into something better suited to the desert heat. Some clothing even has special effects that, for example, can make you faster and stealthier.

Battling enemies requires strategy - The world is inhabited with enemies of all shapes and sizes. Each one has its own attack method and weaponry, so you must think quickly and develop the right strategies to defeat them.

I've been a fan of the Zelda series since Ocarina of Time released and a fan of open world games in more recent years. So I was cautiously hopeful about Breath of the Wild. The only worry being would it not be enough of a Zelda game anymore? But Zelda games weren't meant to be a single repeated formula. The first 3 Zelda games were all very different from each other. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Wind Waker were also quite different games. And Breath of the Wild is a Zelda game seen through the lens of modern open world titles and yes, it strays from the Zelda formula further than previous titles have but it brings a few new things to the series such as the most open of open worlds we've ever seen. Every surface can be climbed, every mountain scaled and you can go take on Ganon at any time you want after completely a short introductory area called the Great Plateau. But the more you do in the world first the easier the battle will be. The only slight negatives are the destructible weapons (but even that forces you to try all the different weapons in the game) and the fact that Link can't dive underwater and explore the lakes and oceans from below. Maybe in a sequel? All in all it's a brilliantly executed Zelda title that drops you into a sprawling landscape that just begs to be explored. The emphasis here is strongly on exploration and as a fan of open worlds and Zelda games this has become one of my favourite Zelda games up there with Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker and one of my favourite games of all time!

Excellent game, a brilliantly addictive world with tonnes and tonnes of content to keep you busy for a long, long time. Great Graphics for a Wii U title, and runs very well on the system. I purchased the game and it arrived in prefect condition with no issues. If you own a Wii U, buy this game, if you don't own a Wii U, I'd recommend getting one (or a Nintendo Switch) to play this masterpiece. This was also the best price for a sealed version of the game that I've seen, so it's even better.
