From acclaimed director Stephen Frears, and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathy Bates and Rupert Friend, comes Chéri, a luxurious romance set in pre-World War One Paris which tells the story of the love affair between the beautiful retired courtesan Léa, and the son of her old colleague and rival, Chéri.

Léa educates the spoilt and shallow boy in the ways of love, but after six years Mme Peloux, Chéri's mother, secretly arranges a marriage between him and the daughter of a rich courtesan.

As their time to part edges ever nearer they realise their passions run deeper than they ever imagined, and how much they mean to each other.
