A traditional Japanese style game that brings you into your world and grasps tight.<br />Okami is beautifully designed with art that lasts through generations of consoles, the many different areas within the game contain unique and stunning graphics. Unfortunately this game is often misjudged because of its old origins and the cover of the game itself isn't very impressive. I highly recommend that you give this game a chance, i pushed this game aside for years, leaving it to gather dust, finally I pulled it out and began to play it, I immediately punched myself for putting it of so long and playing other games that couldn't hold a candle to this bonfire. The game play develops nicely throughout the story, introducing and evolving a style of painting while fighting and exploring. Sure, Amaterasu can only use 4 different types of weapons, but what about the art styles? The drawing technique makes the battles more involved and interesting, each monster has a weakness that you can exploit through various styles. Okami also has a folklore form of story, based around Japan's myths and legends, many monsters that are found in game are connected to other stories which are partially included in Okami. If I haven't managed to convince you about how great this game actually is, then take a chance, you WILL be greatly rewarded.
