We all agree that this is pretty much one of the best games ever. If you have a PS4, get the shiny remastered version with all the DLC's. If you have a PS3, you'll still get 50+ hours of co-op fun from this for a very low price.
One of the best games I may ever play, Borderlands 2 takes what was great from the first game, and makes it even better. The story is well executed and the characters are well crafted with awesome personalities. Borderlands 2 has a personality unlike any other game, it's insane, psychotic and at some points, just ridiculous, but that's what makes Borderlands 2 so fun. The Borderlands games have always emphasised on it's 'bazillion' guns, and Borderlands 2 provides so many different and unique guns that can change the way you approach things within the game. Overall, if you're looking for an awesome game to play, make Borderlands 2 your next choice.
EXPLOSIONS!?!?!? Buy this, buy the season pass, book a month off work and say goodbye to the wife and kids because this game is seriously awesome. So much fun to be had. Everything is better than Borderlands 1. The humour is better, there's more loot, the areas are bigger, more enemies, more gun types. But having said that it still retains what makes Borderlands, well, Borderlands. Tiny Tina and Torgue are worth the money themselves. THIS IS THE END OF THE MESSAGE!!
If you liked the first game you will like this. BL2 is very similar to BL in combat, loot, humour and well lack of story. Its a great shoot and loot game and though their are new starting characters they feel very similar to those from BL, who make a comeback in this and guide you through the game. There are more weapons and enemy types to make it more interesting and the true vault hunter mode is essentially the real game with enemies having different damage vulnerabilities Overall a solid sequel with fun combat and gameplay however the story still feels very bland. The DLC Gaige is well worth buying if you enjoy crazy combat and adds a totally different strategy in combat
