This game has its ups and downs. Graphics and soundtrack is amazing, the ATB battle system has modifications so the characters are no longer static: they are in different positions and they move around as opposed to returning to their original position.
The paradigm system is a nice addition to spice things up - various roles = various strategies.
On the downside, the plot is quite linear and does not offer free exploring (a key feature of RPGs) until quite late in the game. The number of sidequests are also limited.
It is a fun game but not as good as some of the other games in the franchise.
