Learn more about usFantastic series and a must have especially at this price. If you have any remote interest in playing the series this would be the best place to start. Everything plays smoothly, and this collection contains the best versions of each game, however MGS3 does not contain the bonus mini games or online play sadly.
Almost perfect score but the codes require a US account and yeah they are digital not on disc. As for the games they are great for people who have not played the original old school MG1 and MG2. This is great cause it has the extra dlc for peacewalker and my favorite snake eater on in.
Great value for the price and for anyone who wants to get into the Metal Gear franchise its a great starting point
An easy buy for the price. Although what this contains is essentially just Metal Gear Solid 4 and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, it's still great value for money. Metal Gear 1 and 2 come as bonuses in Metal Gear Solid 3 and the PS1 MGS games are download codes. You need a US account to download them but you can play them on your PS3 just fine. It sadly does not contain Metal Gear Rising which is a personal favourite but that is available elsewhere. At any rate, this includes some amazing games which will likely take you years to complete. The complex narratives woven through the entire series combined with some of the best stealth/survival gameplay makes this a must-buy.
