Bloodborne Game Of The Year (GOTY) PS4 Game

Bloodborne is from the acclaimed studio behind Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls. It is a new 3rd person action RPG, exclusively on PS4 and brimming with unforgiving, unrelenting terror…

Includes:

  • The Original Bloodborne Experience
  • Bloodborne The New Hunters Expansion

Bloodborne Game

Face your fears as you search for answers to a deadly mystery in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire. Danger, death and madness lurk around every corner of this horrific forsaken world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive.

Experience a deep, action RPG where the fear of the unexpected drives you forward. Engage in intelligent, strategic combat with both guns and blades, and develop your skills and character as you brave the journey alone, or join forces with others to tackle the challenge in co-op multiplayer.

Key Features

  • A terrifying new world: Travel to a fear-filled gothic city inhabited by deranged mobs and nightmarish creatures. Stunningly detailed environments, atmospheric lighting and advanced new online experiences bring your journey to life, showcasing the power of PlayStation 4.
  • Fast-paced strategic combat: Armed with a unique arsenal of weaponry, use your wits, strategy and reflexes to take down the agile and intelligent enemies that guard the city’s dark secrets.
  • Unleash transformable weapons: With a shotgun in one hand and a saw cleaver in the other, attack enemies with weapons that transform as you fight. Adapt your play style to different weaponry, mastering their transformations to deliver devastating melee strikes and projectile attacks.
  • Ground-breaking PvP multiplayer: Put your skills to the test as other players jump into your game offering the ultimate challenge: a human opponent!
  • Stunning 1-3 player co-op: Join up to 2 friends to increase your chances of survival as you journey together into the unknown.
  • Industry-leading asynchronous play: Stay constantly connected to the Bloodborne community as the graves of the fallen provide warnings of what’s to come, while gestures and messages left by fellow journeymen aid your quest, or fool you into making a fatal mistake.
  • Create and explore user-generated Channel Dungeons: Collect items on your journey to generate unique dungeons and earn rare unlocks for your character. Work with the Bloodborne community to create the best Channel Dungeons, then share them to see who can survive your creations.
  • Rewarding character levelling and customisation: Choose attributes to suit your play style and evolve your character as you gain more experience, improving your weaponry and magical skills.

Bloodborne The Old Hunters Expansion Game

Experience an all new story set in the chilling world of Bloodborne

Long ago, the old hunters buried terrible secrets in the ruins of Byrgenwerth. But they are about to be unearthed. Explore brand new environments, including the Clock Tower and the Hunter’s Nightmare – all filled with danger, rewards and deadly bosses – and learn the harrowing tale of hunters who once made Yharnam their playground.

You’ll find multiple outfits and new transformable weapons to add to your arsenal, including Simon’s Bowblade for a new experience with ranged combat. Play with dark spells and transform yourself into a horrific beast. Welcome back to Yharnam…

Customer Reviews

Quite the game I must say. It really makes you learn patience and ensures that you will spend time learning from your deaths and the tactics of your enemies if you ever hope to get anywhere. The enemies and environments look amazing and the combat system feels very realistic . This is not a game where you're going to take out 10 enemies with two swings of your sword. This is a game requires lots of skill. Some are born with it, others will acquire it through facing the brutality that the game has to offer

highly overrated game, ignore all the praise that the developers proudly display on the case. This is easily the worst platform exclusive title i have ever played in my last 20 years.... if you think it looks interesting make sure you research everything about the game first, before you cough up for it. if you are unaware this game is made by the same developer behind the dark souls series, and likewise is basically the same game. as such the game treats the player as if you have played any of those games prior, there is no tutorial to speak of, and the game drops you straight into the thick of it, with very little similarity to games from the same genre. if you are new to a dark souls-Esq game as i was, you will get very frustrated very quickly upon starting the game. further more this game being praised as a hard game is quite misleading. i'll agree that it is hard, but not due to the handicap of the game. the truth is that this game is so difficult because the actual combat system is incredibly buggy and unpolished. there is no "true" guard or defense system to be heard of, the best you can do is attempt to roll and try to evade enemy attacks, 90% of the time it comes down to who has the longest stick? and/or can hit the fastest? and of course that's if the enemy doesn't just attack you through walls and unbreakable objects or even through each other! the clipping in the game is terrible, and the hit-box's for enemy's hardly ever function logically. it is basically a ps4 game graphically with ps1 era physics. the multiplayer is very misleading as far as advertisement also, not a game to buy to play with friends. there is no matchmaking, no lobbies and no way to invite players into your session. the only way to play multiplayer is to both be in the same area in game, stand in almost identical locations, and stand still ringing silly little bells and hope you find your friends or other player's by having your game detect their bell, and this only work's as a help system, once you complete an area you can no longer search for players to your join game within that completed section so unless you don't mind helping people further behind than you, your out of luck there also. unless you pvp, but that mode is equally stressing to setup and incredibly boring anyway. and to top it all off there is no real story to keep you interested in the game either, you literally wake up in a clinic and are expected to just go kill stuff. there is no driving narrative to explain why you are playing. all three potential ending's to the game also explain nothing, and leave you more confused than before! I personally don't understand why this game has got such a positive reception. any other developer would have the absolute PR piss taken out of them for releasing a game like this. it caters to a very "niche" audience, and doesn't do anything special to make it stand out from the crowd. money far better spent elsewhere!
