A really good open-world style game. You are taking yourself and a team of 3 others around an adventure, killing monsters and fulfilling quests. Allot of the quests on the main map are very fetch-quest (not really fitting considering your status in the world), but can be easily ignored. The combat system is pretty good. It is a third-person action style combat but you can also command your troops (I hardly did it though, otherwise combat could drag). You get a bunch of cool abilities (such as summoning fire by cleaving the ground), although the skill trees are a bit more restrictive than I would have liked. You don't have the sprawling skill trees of a Diablo. I have put about 50 hours into the game so I did enjoy it overall. Definitely worth picking up and playing.
A fantastic game to satisfy one's inner adventurer. With the massive lands, giant number of craftable weapons and armour, numerous characters to talk to and carry out quests for, a single playthrough of this game will run you around 60 hours with the DLCs adding allot more epic content. Heaps of fun!
Good game and adds to the universe well, though is it as good as I thought well that's up for debate, yes I loved the game but I did find it could drag at times and it talks of the past and actions in the first two games with no input from the player over the history that they created its a shame but my only real complaint, if your a fan its well worth a play.
I came into DA Inquisition after having basked in the glory that is DA Origins. What I was anticipating most was endearing characters, fun interactions, and just generally great writing all round. Do we get that here? Hmm... not really imo. The writing is good, but the characters are definitely not as interesting or fun as they were in Origins. The gameplay, again while not amazing, is pretty decent. It gets the job done, and it's pretty fun in it's own right. The world is huge, so there's lot of areas to explore and countless quests to complete, though this content can be a bit shallow. So while it didn't live up to my expectations, it's still a good game overall, albeit not great.
Seems like this game will be much better than it's predecessors, having not much success with their previous title - it looks as if they have upped their game when it comes to Inquisition - I'm looking forward to it, being a keen RPG player. Gameplay and combat flows really nice, lets just hope that the story is as good!
