Product Description

Persona 5 PS4 Game

Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students - the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game's story - who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves.

They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler - attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people. Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self”.

The game's heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective masks and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need.

Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern-day society wears.

Persona 5 Features:

  • Persona 5 marks the return of the award-winning franchise on home consoles since the PS2 generation
  • Fast-paced Japanese role-playing game mechanics, exciting action sequences
  • Vibrantly stylized characters, enemies, and environments, elegant anime-style cut-scenes
  • Soundtrack featuring the fresh sounds of acid jazz composed by the gifted Shoji Meguro
  • Overcome various obstacles with graceful Phantom Thief action. The simple-to-learn, but hard-to-master controls will be enjoyed by newcomers and veteran Persona players alike.

Customer Reviews

Basically the best Persona game to date. Having played almost all of the Persona games since the Playstation one era, this one has absolutely nailed the JRPG formula. A great start for newcomers and a familiar face for the old.

One of the most fantastic games I've ever played, this game had me stuck to the screen for over 150 hours, This was within the span of 10 days, This game has everything, slick combat, hype music, interesting characters, and a story that keeps you interested every step of the way. I'd rate this game 9.5/10

One of the best (and most stylish) games ever. Somehow manages to improve on the last two entries in the series in almost every way. Which isn't easy, as they were pretty great games themselves. Very much a persona game, if you've played one before. The time management/social link side is much the same as previous entries, just more streamlined. A nice touch is the shortcut buttons for everything from movement between different areas, to the weakness of previously found enemies. It cuts much of the typical backtracking/running through previously cleared areas that can be annoying. 10/10

Had a go with the Japanese version, worth a purchase for all you persona fans and weabs out there, animation is superb, soundtrack is catchy, bosses are great fun and the combat has been improved quite a bit from the previous titles, i had no idea what the dialogue was saying but i'm guessing the narrative is immersive too.
