Absolutely love this game, I am taking my time with it. Jack is a badass and has made me jump on multiple occasions. Play it if you want some fun, dont mind seeing some gross stuff and like being a bit frightened every now and then.

The best Resident evil since Res evil 3. This is much better than 4, 5 and 6. Old school type Resident evil like the first 3.
Jack is the meanest boss.

I fresh take on the series by returning to its survival-horror roots. Whilst I am a huge fan of all the games in the series, Resident Evil 7 changes things up quite a bit. It's tense, not knowing what lies around each corner keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are moments that are reminiscent of being chased by Nemesis in Resdient Evil 3 and it is certainly creepy and dark.
It was a bold decision to go first-person but it works incredibly well. The exploration of the plantation feels as if it is a real place and the balance of combat that is there is well done. Highly recommend to a fan of the series or if you're wanting to experience the feeling that the original games created decades ago. This game feels like a unique immerse adventure.

Having played the Kitchen demo in VR and playing the latest demo "The Beginning" in both VR and without VR I can say I am truely amped and can't wait for this release. The graphics look truely stunning and lifelike in HDR and definitely make use of the PS4 pro's hardware it will be interesting as it's now in first person and has a completely different tone to the previous Resident Evil games for good reason of course as this sets to bring back the true survival horror elements that the previous games were lacking. If you were lucky enough to play the PT demo sadly gone and no longer in production it has that same chilling tone and feel. Will also be a treat to give this a go in VR though knowing the graphics are significantly reduced it still will be a terrifying experience much more enhanced because playing in VR. As a note movement walking in VR gives you the sense you are on one of those balance hover boards or a segway this might be off putting to some but was something I got used to.
