Rage could have been a lot better. At times feels like a tech demo. The game looks beautiful, even on the 360. Unfortunately it is lacking in content and the game world feels a lot smaller and more linear than an "open world" RPG shooter should. There is nothing wrong with it - the combat system is fun, the characters are likeable, the story is decent... it just feels unfinished.
